Where Can I Purchase an iPod Touch or iPhone?

You can purchase an iPod Touch or an iPhone at any local apple retailer or online at apple.com.

How do I get iConverse onto my device?

You can download iConverse onto your device from the app store button on your device. The iPod Touch requires a wifi connection to download applications from the app store. Watch this video to get step by step instructions on downloading iConverse.

How many icons does iConverse come with?

iConverse allows you to use the 6 included icons for basic needs and also allows you to make your own custom icons using the “my buttons” tab. You can use images and text to voice to create buttons. You can find a video tutorial on making custom buttons with your “my buttons” tab here.

How can I organize my Custom Buttons?

Currently you are not able to rearrange custom buttons once they are made. That feature has been added to a request sheet and will be out with the next upgrade.

How do I change the gender of the voice?

The gender of the voice can be changed using the settings button on the homepage of your device. Currently only the voice for the 6 classic icons can be changed. The custom buttons rely on a text to voice system that cannot currently be altered. For more informations on adjusting your iConverse settings, please view the video tutorial here.

The voice volume is low on custom buttons, how do I increase it?

The custom button volume can be adjusted by turning up the device volume and not the ringer volume. For a simple tutorial on how to do this, click here.

Oops I made a mistake. How do I delete a custom button?

To delete a custom button, scroll to the button that you’d like to delete. Swipe your finger from left to right across the button. A delete tab will pop up to the right of the text. Click the delete button to remove the icon. For a more visual tutorial click here for the video.

What is the cost of iConverse?

iConverse is currently selling on the app store for $9.99.
